Call for Speakers

WordCamp Vadodara is a meeting point open to everyone: designers, bloggers, marketers, developers, copywriters and onlookers. 
Every WordCamp, in India and in the world, is an important moment of sharing for the WordPress Community. 
In addition to a big cheerful and colorful party, WordCamp also represents a unique training and professional updating opportunity. 

YOU WANT TO BE ONE OF OUR SPEAKERS?

Welcome! The contents are the heart of WordCamps: there are those who come for the first time and want to get closer to the platform, those who have used it for a long time and want to deepen some knowledge.

We are pleased to host speakers of all ages and backgrounds: WordCamps are inclusive and accessible events. You will not have to be a professional speaker, but we expect competence and passion towards the topic you will talk about.

WHAT KIND OF TALK WILL WE ACCEPT?

We will accept different types of talk. We will prefer the formative ones, those useful for the community, those that present novelties, the original and unusual ones, those that we believe we have more appeal for the varied public that will participate in the Vadodara edition 2019.

The deadline for sending applications is  September 16, 2019, at 12:00 AM IST.

If you have an idea, don’t be shy, propose it. And if you don’t have it, or it is in an incubation phase, let’s talk about it, maybe a whole is born!

ARE YOU A FIRST TIME PUBLIC SPEAKER?

Launch yourself, we are ready to fall in love with you! Conquer us with your “workhorse” or with the themes you would like to present. WordCamp represents a great springboard for a career as a Public Speaker! We will be honored to have the chance to present a new life in the community.

WILL I BE PAID AS A SPEAKER?

Your participation as a speaker at WordCamp is voluntary. There is therefore no payment or reimbursement for WordCamp Vadodara speakers. All selected speakers will however be entitled to free admission to the event. So, if you are applying, don’t buy the ticket! We will send you a coupon to get it for free. 
If your application is rejected and you decide to come anyway (thank you!), Do not worry about being left without a ticket: We will sell a further lot after the call closes, and we will provide you with a reserved link.

IF I APPLY, WILL I BE SURE TO PARTICIPATE AS A SPEAKER?

We receive many applications: if yours is not one of the chosen ones, don’t be discouraged.
